Chardonnay

Perhaps the most popular white wine varietal and certainly the most well known, Chardonnay originated in eastern France and is typified by a dry, full-bodied oak flavor profile and a moderate, nuanced acidity. Renowned for its buttery smoothness and incredible diversity, Chardonnay is grown all over the world, which is why it has developed such a cult status amongst connoisseurs and collectors of white wine.
